The Hutt Valley s Licensed Victuallers' Association'met on Wednesday afternoon, when Mr. J.. Carey Fitzgerald was elected organising secretary to the Association. Thero wero somo sixty-five candidates for the position. Mr. Fitzgorald has had a lengthy experience in organising work. Latterly Mr. Fitzgerald has been connected with the Public Servico. Co-operative Association. Mr. Wm.'. Baxter., of Messrs. Baxter Bros., sawmillers, on the West Coast, has decided to become a resident of the Lower Hutt'. Ho has acquired interests-in -tho.
