At. a meeting of the Management Committee, of the Wellington Scenery Preservation Society, tho offer of £50 subsidy from tho City Council was discussed. It was decided to call a general meeting of subscribers to consider what. action should bo taken with regard to the proffered subsidy, and also to the future.of tho Society. A meeting will shortly be called. ■
