Roly Poly Pudding. Crecy Soup.; Slice 3 large carrots, 1 large onion, i head of celery, or tie a teaspoonfnl of celery seeds in a piece of muslin,. 2oz. of bam or bacon, 2 pints of stock or water,'J pint of milk, i teaspoonful of sugar; popper, salt. Put the ham, .and, if necessary,-a small piece of butter, or the fat that has dropped from bacon when frying it, into-a-saucepan. Add the .- vegetables; and cook very slowly for ten minutes withont browning them. Add the-Stock hot and "the'rest of tho iDgTcdicots (oxcept tho milk). Boil until the vegetables are quite soft, and' then- pass- all the ; soup* through ' a sieve. Is oxt add tho milk, and ' reheat tho soup. Serve fried sippets of; bread with it, but not in it, cr rusks. : ' FOR TO-MORROW. Ingredients.—Boiling fish,-1 egg,mashed potato, celery, prunes, rice, parsley or another egg, 1 pint of mill;, I lemon, thyme. -. , SUNDAY. Ingredients.—Pork, sage, onions, canliflower, ..J. pint of .milk; fruit /"trifle, - jam tartlets, . apples. SUPPER. , ; Ingredients.—Pig's head;' salad, apple puffs, : ' chcese aria potato savoury.
