——*——• Tho Petono branch of the Church of England Mon's Society met on Monday night to hear an address on tho " Divinity of Christ" by Rev. G. P. Davys, vicar of. St. Peter's, Wellington. The chairman welcomed Mr! Davys, both as a visitor and as president of tho St. Peter's branch of their Society, and hoped that a feeling of brotherhood would spring up between the two branches. A discussion followed the address, in which most of those present joined.
