Tho East London team (Cape Colony), with a score of. 824 out of a possible 840, won the " Daily Mail " 200 guinea Empire Cup. Thero were 612 entries. Tho Railway Works Club (Brisbane), 807, was second. The Boncligo team, .798, was third. . ■ , . ■ East London also won the 50 guinea cup for tho best score outside tho United Kingdom. - In addition to the Empire Cup (for the Empire a? a whole) tho "Daily Mail" offered two fifty pirinea cups for the winning teams in (1) the British Isles, (2) the Empire outside tho British Isles (which latter East London also takes). ,
