Tkeso tho pioneer investigators have had to learn by experience. Dr. llali-Edwlu'ds' hands became covored with warty formations, which wero excruciatingly painful, and for which no relief could bo found. Ho has stated that for four years ho has never been freo from pain. In March ho was granted a oivil list pension o£ ,£l2O a year. '
