Commons to-morrow evening. The Bishop of London; Lord Crewe, Colonial Secretary; Mr. Arthur Henderson, M.P., chairman of tho Parliamentary Socialist party; and. Sir T. P. Whittnker Were the principal speakers'at a demonstration in tho Albert Hall on May. 16 in favour of the Licensing Bill. Lord Crewe grew very angry when interrupted by the suffragists, and said, "I will deal once and for all with this interruption. I say this—if votes for women are going to be-used in hampering social reforms such -as this I for one don't care how long their grant is delayed." ' ' . ' Several suffragists were" ejected for creating a disturbance. ..... Lord Crewe concluded his speech on the Licensing Bill by saying, "We are going ■to stand to our guns."
