DRAUGHTSMEN'S INSTITUTE.
A well-attended meeting of the Draughtsment's Institute was held last evening in the Architects' Rooms, National Mutual Buildings. The appointments of the president and vice-presidents were confirmed. The president, Mr. Marchbanks, paid a tribute to Mr. H. J. W. Mason, the promoter of the movement to form the Institute.
A discussion took place as to the advisability of co-operation with the kindred institutions. The intention of the Draughtsmen's Institute is to endeavour, with the aid of other institutions, to establish a technical library, and other matters of interest to draughtsmen.
