Spanish Treacle .Pudding. / SPANISH TREACLE PUDDING. floiir, 4oz. suet, Goz. treacle, \ i teaspoonful' carbonate of soda, milk, one or' two eggs. . Mix the dry ingredients, add the treacle, and lastly stir in the soda, dissolved in a little lukewarm milk. It should be of, the consistency of a stiet pudding. Tie in a floured cloth, leaving room for the pudding to swell. Plunge into boiling water, and cook for two hours. ,When served it must not bo cut with a knife, but pulled apart with a fork. Servo with it'any of the sweet sauces.
