, DISASTER IN INDIA. GREAT LOSS OF LIFE REPORTED. AY TEMXIIAFI7 —PREBS ASSOCIATION —COPYBIfIHI. Calcutta, June 26. . A collision occurred between an express passenger train and a goods train on tho Bombay-Baroda 'railway/ Many carriages wero burnt. Great loss of life is reported.

FREQUENT IMPROPER SIGNALLING.' Melbourne, Juno 26. At tho inquest regarding tho Braybrook railway disaster, it' was stated that from November till April tbreo per cent, of the trains, woro brought to the Sunshine (Braybrook) station by wrong signals, and that altogether 137 cases of improper'signalling were not reported to the department. , ~
Throe railway officers have been suspcndei as a result of the disclosures.
