Bread,and Butter, Pudding. vt • Boiled Beetroot. Method—Small' beetroot shonld bo chosen for this dish. Care must be-taken that' the skin of'the beetroot does not get bruised whilst ■ washing, or it will lose its colour. After it is cooked,, peel it quickly and put, it into a saucepan with a small piece of butter and a little sugar.!- When it is quite hot put it into a piedish and pour parsley sauce over it. If the beetroot is a very nice one, it is not necessary to use any sugar when dishing it. FOR TO-MORROW. Ingredients.—Oysters, onions, ■ i pint of milk, ; loin;of mutton, i lb. figs, \ lb. suet, thyme, parsley, cabbage, kumeras.
