POULTRY, PIGEON, AND CANARY SHOW.

. The twenty-sixth annual show of the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society will be held at-tho Drill Shed on July 2, 3, 'and 4. It will probably be opened by the President, the Mayor (tho Hon. T. W. Hislop). About 900 entries have been recoived from all parts of' New Zealand and Australia. Tho chief classes in the ontries aro as follow:—. Poultry Wyandottes, orpingtons, leghorns, bantams; pigeon classes—magpies, show and flying homers ; owls, and tumblers; canary .'claSses--York'shiro and Norwich. '. Considerable competition 'is expected for tho three' North Island championships, which aro being hold'in connection with the show. Special interest centres in tho Yorkshire canary championship, on account of recent importations. ' '
