j Of tlio forty-two students of Victoria College who aro to reeeivo their degrees this afternoon, ninoteen aro women, and their degrees aro as follow: —One Bachelor of Science, two Masters of Arts, two who have passed the M.A. degree with honours, and fourteen Bachelors of Arts. It is rather interesting to see what these girls are going to do with their learning, and it appears that nearly all of them are already teachers or mean to teach when they have finished tho courso at tho Training School. One of the honours girls is now at tho Training College and the_other is:to be a teacher; one of tho M.A.'s is now at the Training Collego, and the other is already teaching; six. of tho B.A.'s aro going to take the M.A. degree, six aro at the Training College, three are teachers, and one has entered the Civil Service. It is satisfactory to know that nearlyall of them aro going to put their knowledge to immediate practical use,. but onß would be glad to think that openings would bo found ill other professions, that, the schools would not receive . back again the best scholars they send out.
