BENEVOLENT TRUSTEES.
: The Trustees of the Bcnovolcnt Institution met yesterday, the Rev. W. A. Evans presiding. Also present were: Mrs. yarvall, Messrs. D. Robertson, H. Cook, and I'. b. Tho number of inmates at tho Ohiro Home was reported by tho Master to be J ; l (0(5 males and 28 females), a dcerease of two on -tho number for last. woek. ■ ... A letter was received from Dr. Jiwart(Superintendent of Wellington - Hospital), stating, in reply to a letter from tho Secretary that there' was no available accommodation 'ftt tho Hospital for consumptives, all tho shelters being occupied. , Tho sub-matron at tho Ohiro Homo (Mr. Charlton) tendered her resignation, which was accepted. In vioiv of licr illness, Mrs. Charlton was granted a month's leavo of absence. Further donations of coal wero received from Mr. Judah Myers and Mr. W. F. Richards, Rovans Street (£1 each). A motion expressing the thanks of the Board to the donors was passed,- and: the Secretary (Mr. Truobridgo) was authorised to mako grants of coal at his discretion: ' Applications for rolief wero also dealt with.
