Burns, Philp and Co., for a steam servico to Singapore, a subsidy of £2000 a year, so long as. Victoria pays a similar subsidy to the Archibald Currio Line. If Messrs. Burns and ?!o. carry out their threat to shift their hoadquarters to Victoria or to dock their vessels in Melbourne, the New South Wales subsidy will cease.
