Kidston, Premier of Queensland, who is visiting England, in tho co'urso of several interviews, dilated on tho ''White Australia" aspirations and Queensland's progress. Mr. Kidston emphasised tho fact that thero was-room for many thousands of emigrants in his State. If tho Mother Country was unablo to supply them,' Queensland would welcome Gormans, Danes, or Swedes. The speaker emphatically declared that Australia was quite decided to prevent an Asiatic invasion. In return for preference for her butter,. Australia was willing to givo prefcrenco to English engines.
