He will stand as an opponent of the present Government. ;■ LABOUR CANDIDATES. Tlie liominations of Labour candidates to represent the Wellington scats will close on Juno 24. The .nominees will then bo subjected. 10 a plebiscite to bo arranged by tho Labour Representation' Committee of tho Trades and Labour Council. So far about fourteen nominations liavo been received.
