' Tiio treasury was broken open by order of Mulai. Hafidi who was furious on finding that there was only a coffer containing Abdul Aziz's old clothes. Mulai had the harem whipped to compel disclosure of where the treasure was hidden, but the ladies declared that Abdul Aziz took evorything away. '. . :
