They had three Ministers representing seats in the provinco,' and ho, hoped that they would riso to tho .occasion? and recogniso that the time had now arrived when tho North Island should enter into its heritage—(hear, hear)— and that no other portion of tho Dominion would bo allowed to take away our just , rights. : (Applauso.) This was very important, becauso in view of tho recent rapid doveloprtieilt it was very necessary that'thoy should have representation accordingly, and ho was surprised that the Prime Minister had not given an immediate reply when approached on this subject. It would bo absolutely wrong to permit'tho carrying out of what was asked, and ho trusted that tho Auckland members would-see.''that no such great injustice was done-to this part of tho Dominion.
