[FROM 008 SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Thero was a slight fall of snow in tho Kimbolton . district on Monday night, and yesterday morning tho hills wero draped in a thin mantle of white. Feilding experienced a vory cold snap yesterday and last uight. Tho Tablo Flat correspondent of tho "Star" states that Mr. E. Millar, who bought Mr. 11. Venables's property 011 Tablo Flat, has now taken up his residence there. Mr. Martin has loaned his farm. Mr. Watson, of Apiti, has taken part of tho farm, and Mr. Pratt, also of Apiti, has taken the other part. Mr. John Bartholomew, who was in the Feilding Borough Council some years ago, was elected on Monday to fill the vacancy caused by tho resignation of Couucillor Darragh.
