FRUIT BATTER. : Ingredients.—Jib. flour, 1 pint milk, 1 or 2 oggs, apples or passion fruit. . Method.—Drop the, eggs into the flour, add the milk, and boat-well for 10 minutes. Peel' .and core the apples, slice thinly, and add to the batter. Put spoonfuls into hot fat and. fry a light brown. Sprinkle with icing sugar, and serve at once. If using passion fruit, add the juice and seeds to the batter, mix well, and fry as above. " FOR TO-MORROW.
