Miss Margaret Anglin, tlm American aotress, arrived here by tho Aorangi, under engagement to Mr. J. C. Williamson. Miss Margaret Anglin is described in "Tho Green Room Book" as being "ono of the most brilliant young actrlsscs on the American stage." Canadian born—she first saiv tho light in Ottawa on April 3, 1876—Miss Anglin h as played and succceded all ovor tho .States. Slio early attracted tho attention of Mr. Charles Frohman, and made her first, appearance as Madeleine West in " Shenandoah" at New York in 1801. Her repertoire is very extensive and up-to-dnto.
