Association wrote risking that a Member of itho Association be recommended by the General Committee for the position of judge of draught horses ia't the Auckland show. Mr. Morris 'nominated Mr. T. M'Kenjrie sent', in his resignation as a member of the General Committeo. It was . unanimously"' resolved to ask Mr. •M Kenzie to reconßider"his decision. 1 ' _ Mr. W. D. Watson -moved "that the Carterton P. and A. Society be given .notice that the'Masterton''Association intends to conduct the ram fair on its own behalf." Mr. O. C. Cooper I ',moved " that a'committee be to colloct evidence to submit to 1 , the Arbitration Court in regard to the claims of the 1 Drovers' Union." In doing so, he Baid t-hfit though only the freez-ing-companies and;, auctioneers had been cited as defendants, it was the farmer who would Mtually , suffer. Mr. Pilmer seconded • the motion; which was carried 1 unanimously. The Finance Committee recommended' tlie payment of interest on Sohvay ground as from May ,1 last. "This was approved. The Ground'(Joiimittee recommended that the eastern "bpimdary line of Solway ground be a line drawn, from Judd's boundary to tho Avenue, and one chain from Solway Home. In the .event^of'Solway Home being sold, it was decided^to -recommend that a, right-of-way three-quarters of a chain wide from Solway Homp 0. the' terrace, and one chain Wide, from th'e ,tcrrace to' the railway lino bo granted under, certain conditions. 'It was decided to' reply to Mrs. Falk (tenant of a cottage on lt4.e. property) that the cottagetrould not be required for some time to come.
