It is rumoured that arrangements are being made for a Charity Ball to bo given next' month in aid of tho funds of the Lady Plunket Contre of the Girls' Realm/Guild. Mr. and Mrs. F. Hutchinson, of Rissirigton, Hawke's Bay, intend to leave by the Atlienic on Thursday next for a,trip to England. The Misses Izard, of Queensland, are staying with Miss Izard in Christchurch. Miss Fulcher, of tho Zenana Mission, is the guest of Mrs. Hoby, of Woolcombe Street. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Kebbcll intend to spend tho next' three months .in Wellington. A Methodist Ladies' Guild has been formed at Brooklyn in connection with the Methodist Forward with Mrs. Pierard as president , and Mrs. Donald as secretary, to make arrangements for the opening services and conversazione, which are to be held at Fullford's Hall, Brooklyn,' on June 21 and 26.
