A meeting of the Wellington Literary and' Ethical Club was hold in the? Masonic Hall last evening. A debate was held on the subject whethor it would benefit the. British Empire to concede Home Rulo to Ireland. The subject was keenly discussed, and, after lengthy argument, it was decided that the supporters of tho negative wero victorious. Mr. .C. A. Turner was in, tho chair.
