Anniversary services of the ' Wadestown Presbyterian Ckuroh wore hold "last Sunday.. Tho morning service was conducted by Mr. J., G.'W. Aitkon, M.P., and the evening ono by the ■Rove. J. Paterson, W. JV Conirie,; and S. C.' very large attendance, when tho first of a series: of monthly addresses on'" Family Life " was given by Mr. Inglis, the subjoct boing "Husbands and Wives." Tho addresses to follow: fire on, "Fathers and Mothers," "Sons,"; "Daughters," "Brothers and. Sisters,"-"Com-' panions," and "The Family." A social meeting was held on Wednesday, \ when the churoh was crowded. Tho minister presided and ad-, i dresses on church work wero given: by the; Rev. J. Paterson, 'W. J. Comrie, and S. C. 1 Ronnie. The choir sang two anthems in, . good style; songs, were rendered by Miss' }{T3wen (of Wellington); Mr.' John Mackay and! Miss Mansfield (of Khandallah), Miss F. Jop. lin and Mrs. Mncleod (of Wndestojvn); a duet was givon by Mrs. Macleod and Miss Portman i (of Wadestown); and as recitation bv Mrs.; ,! Styles. Refreshments wore served at tho closo ' of the meeting. Messrs.. Joplin and Grahamhave been recontly ordained as elders of the i congregation. Tho past yeaf has been one of t greftt progress and prosperity. ■ .
