A social meeting was held on Wednesday, \ when the churoh was crowded. Tho minister presided and ad-, i dresses on church work wero given: by the; Rev. J. Paterson, 'W. J. Comrie, and S. C. 1 Ronnie. The choir sang two anthems in, . good style; songs, were rendered by Miss' }{T3wen (of Wellington); Mr.' John Mackay and! Miss Mansfield (of Khandallah), Miss F. Jop. lin and Mrs. Mncleod (of Wndestojvn); a duet was givon by Mrs. Macleod and Miss Portman i (of Wadestown); and as recitation bv Mrs.; ,! Styles.
