Two women who were intending to make a dotible descent at Longton, Staffordshire, on parachutes, became entangled in tho' cording of their balloon. ; One lady extricated herself from her parachute at an altitude'of 11,000 feet, and made a flying leap for her companion. Both descended on one parachute.
