Tho secretary said that the club had received no communication, on the matter, and if tho Press Association tologram put tho suggestion properly he thought it would bo impossible to carry it out. He imagined that tho objeot of tho race mooting proposed to bo hold in Auckland was to provide tho committee arranging for tho welcomo of the Fleet with funds for entertainment purposes. '
