■ — : . MIRAMAR VALUATIONS. The' Assessment Court sat yesterday. Pre-sent:-Dr.-M'Arthur, S.M;,; and Messrs. ,D. T. ' -Stewart and F. Townsend. Mr. F. Martin, of tho Valuation Depart ment, said that an error had formerly Doen made-in stating at 194} acres • tho area of certain property belonging to Mr. H. D. Crawford at Lyell Bay. Allowing for two . deductions which had' previously: been', ovor- ■ looked, tho correct area was \lB3 acres. .29.5 - .'poles... .TKo .valuation of the block was "thus -reduced from £51,900 to £49,295.-. The amended 'valuation was.accepted by tho ■ owner of the property,. throughthe Hon. T.. . AV. Hislop, wh6>ppeared on his behalf.
