, THAMES MINING FATALITY. (BY TELEGRAPH. —PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Thames, June 9. At an inquest touching the death of Thos. Henderson, killed by a fall of quartz at tho Kerikeri mine, a verdict of accidental death (no blame being attachable to anyone) was returned. The ovidonco showed that the ground was heady. Tho largo block that killed deceased appoared to bo safe. Cato, the. other man injured, was badly knocked about tho head. Ho is expected to.recover. : \ DUNEDIN SUICIDE. Dunedin, June 9. At an inquest on tho body of Thomas Craig, commercial traveller, whoso body was found on tho Lawyer's Head Beach, a verdict of suicido wliilo-temporarily insano was returned. In a letter written on tho ' previous day by tho' deceased, who is a childloss widower, to a friend, deceased indicated his intention of making away with himself, and concluded. "Good-bye. I am perfectly sano. No Hies."
