The Premier and all the Ministers of thfl Crown will ;be in Wellington to-day except the Hon. J.- Carroll, who is at Gisborno, and the Hon. J. A. Millar, who will bo on his way to Christchurdh from Dur ; edin. Lieutenant-Colonel Hume, Inspector of Prisons, left for tho North'yesterday. The Hon. J; A. Millar, Minister for Labour and Marine, is expected back from tho ~ South to-morrow. The Rev. R. Inglis (Onslow) was unable, through indisposition, to attend the meeting,of the Presbytery yesterday.. ' ' Mr. H. R. Spence,' of the Customs Departmont, Auckland, has been nominated' for election to the Public Service Superannuation Board. : Mr. G. F. Payling is'attending the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board's Conference as chairman of, the Christchurch liospital Board/ Mr. and Mrs. Payling are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. V. Price, of Christchurch, arrived from abroad by the Papanui yesterday, after having spent six months in England ' 'and on the Continent.- Mr. and 1 Sirs. Price left'for Christchurch by tho Monowai last night. .
It is expected that the Premier (Sir Joseph Ward),.who arrives back from tho South this morning, will leave for Gisborno to-morrow. It is possible that he will afterwards visit Kawhia and other places on; tho West Coast. • : A Dunedin Press Association telegram states that Mr. H. R.
