Friedlander, eldest son of Mr; Rudolph Friedlander, of New Zealand, was married to Miss Hildegard Friedlander, only ..daughter of/ Mr. Waldeniar Friedlander, fpf Jl- Konsingt-on Park Gardens. ; -Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Striith;' of Auckland, ••returned to London last, week from the south of"; France, 'wliero they "spent tho winter. They stayed four, months at .Mentone, and on the way iback to London they spent a .month' in Paris. . They expnet to remain in England until;the end of the .present '.year. . . Mr. and Mrs. W. White, of Wollingtbn, arrived by .the Orontes,; via Suez, on April 4. Mr. White is travelling for his health, and, as tho-weather has been so severe - this month he has' not been able to net about much so far. Tho date of his return- to Now Zealand is uncertain, , but ho will travel uy the-Orient Company's.route. .- * . - i Admiral Richard Moorman, who celobratod his 98th . birthday , last' wtiek; visited--New Zealand' .as; far • back as 1827, and rubbed 1 loses,; with ; ; a.
