Tho'following wero tho tenders: (1) For tho wholo of tho works, including stono; elevation to tlio Queen Street frontage, and the portion shown in Grriy Street, out excluding the Tower and Terrace : Ferguson ' and Malcolm ' (Auckland), £82,689 18s.; .T, T. Julian (Auckland), £82,650; ; 'J.' Judo (Adelaido), £93,432 7s. Cd. j Mitehell and King (Wellington), £104,392. : : •' •" • ' (2) For tho whole of' tho works as before, but substituting , brick-work and cement dressings for stono ■ front.to" tho lesser hall and entrance to. Queen Street: Ferguson and Malcolm, £82,047 lis.'; J. T. Julian, £81,500; J.
