A first offender, who did not appear, was fined 10s., in default 24 hours' imprisonment. Frederick Wilson, a third offender, was finod 205., in default seven days' imprisonment. William Black was fined 10s., or 48 hours' imprisonment, and John W. Crotliy, •with two previous convictions recorded agaiiißt him, was fined 205., in default'seven days' imprisonment.
MISCELLANEOUS.,' , ' A remand until' Monday was granted in a case against Gils SUmmat, charged-with using obscene language at the Queen's Wharf oa Friday. Upon two charges of being an idle and disorderly person! -Robert Hamilton was coavicted and discharged. . A. plea of not guilty was entered by Patnek Daly to a charge of assaulting John Farrell. He was convicted and lined 405,,.in default 14 days' imprisonment, and-ordered to pay 125., two witnesses' expenses. Sovec days were allowed for payment. Upoi a chargo of procuring liquor during tin currency of a prohibition order against him, ho was fined 205., in default seven days imprisonment. . ■ ,
