The Mayor stated that in future adults, instead of boys, Mould .bo employed as far as possible for 'street-cleaning work. REPORTS. The report of tho Baths and City Reserves Committed-: rocominondcd:—That tho dead trees in tho Fitzhorbort Avonuo be grubbed out. That. the. rent for tile strip of: Town Belt leased to Mr. Henry Wright "be fixed at ,£5 per ■ annum. That, instructions be given to the Superintendent' of Rosorves to cut down all tho trees "at tho northern end cf Kent.-.Terrace. That instructions bo' givon ,to tho Superintendent of Reserves to plant . a portion of tho Town- Belt at the rear cf Oriental Bay. . That, the work ill connection with the To Aro Baths Extension bo proceeded with as 1 soon as. possible.' In moving the adoption of tho report Cr.
