A joint committee of tile Houso of Lords and Houso of Commons adopted tho principlo of the purchase of the London Docks, ' The Port of London Bill gives the new authority extensive purchasing powers. Tho London and India Docks Company is the principal dock-owning concern in London, and on March 2-4 it was cabled that the directors of the company had recommended the proprietors to accept the Board of Trado's offer for purchase..
