Tho Do Dion arrived at Dunedin at 10.55 a.m., and stayed five minutes to replenish the potrol engine, being kept running, and arrived back in Invcrcargill at 4.-17 p.m., thus doing tho wholo journoy in 11 hours 32 minutes, a romarkablo record considering tho condition of tho roads. Tho Russell car broke a spring before reaching Clinton on the up journey; and had to be trucked back.
