To-day the Prime Minister will be at Waimato, the Hon; J. Carroll in Gisborne, tho Hon. G. Fowlds in Auckland, tho Hon. J. A. Millar in Dunodin, the Hon. \V. HallJones, the Hon. J. M'Gowan, tho Hon. Dr. Findlajy and the Hon. R. M'Nab in Wellington. Tho Hon. G. Fowlds is espeotcd to return to Wellington from Auckland to-morrow evening. Mr. J. Fairway, of this city, is leaving by the Mokoia to-day on a six . weeks' holiday visit to Australia. Constable JM'Leod, of tho Lambton Quay Police Station, is under orders to transfer to Horopito on the Slain Trunk lino. Tho Rev. J. J. North will represent New Zealand at tho Australasian Baptist Congress, to bo held at Sydney from September 22 to 29. Tho Rev. L. Isitt, Mr. T. E. Taylor (of Christchurch), and Mr. A. S. Adams (of Dunedin) have arranged to address a NoLiccnso gathering in Wellington next week. Messrs. T. E. Taylor and J. G. Stead left for the Chatham Islands by the Ripple on Monday, on a holiday oxoursion. Police-In-spector Gillies was also a passenger for the islands. Tho Rev. F. H. Radford, of Albany, W.A., has .accepted an invitation 'from tho Petotie Baptist Church, t-o which he was commendcd by tho Board of Advice. Mr.-Radford was a fellow-student of the Rov. A. S. Wilson, of Wanganui,. and, according to the " New Zealand Baptist," has done excellent work in West Australia. Mr. Leo Buckeridge, of Wellington, the well-known teacher of voice production, was married at Nelson on Tuesday to Miss Ethel Edwards, fifth daughter of Mr. Henry Edwards (formerly in tho employ of Messrs. Sclanders and Co.), of that city.- Mr. and Mrs. Buckeridgo will not return to Wellington for another week.
