A tragedy occurred in Mooro Street, when John Odgers, a labourer, shot his wife doad and then blew out his own brains. A few months ago Odgers married a widow named Moulan, but, owing to his 1 dissolute habits,' the wife obtained a separation order. Yesterday Odgers met his wife in tho street and threatened her. She took refuge in a shop, tho owner of which tried to prevent Odgers following her. Odgers threatened to shoot tho owner, and pushing past him, fired thrco shots at his wifo, and, returning to the door, shot himself.
