/ , ' The eleventh annual meeting of the Kelburno Rifles was hold in the Central Drill Shed.on Tuesday last, .there-being a strong muster of the company present. The annual report; and balance-sheet were read and adopted. Tho corps was stated to .bo in a very sound -position, the attendance of the mem- - bors at the;'ordinary 'parades,' and also ;at all special parades held-during the Ij'ear being most' 'satisfactory,; sixty -members having ■ earned the capitation grant'. , The' annual ball; of tno corps'was held dur-. ing and proved: an unqualified success,' 1 mainly.'owing to itlie.ra assis-. tanco given by a committee of ladies interested in the welfare of the corps. The following .were the prize-winners in the shooting competitions carried out during the past season: — • ' ' ' Private Hart secured three first and two ■ second prizes, and also carried-off the grand aggregate :priz©,with .al'score of 431 points.' - .
