Ho instanced England, Australia, Now Zealand, and America, where 40 millions of people wero living under Prohibition with a baro majority rulo, and chiefly men's votes. Maiuo (tho much-abused), after 32 years' experience of No-License, polled 70,783 for NoLicense. a majority of about 3 to 1. Tho labour bureau of Massachusetts showed that B'l per cent, of crimo, 35 per cent, of insanity, and 80 per cent, of pauperism was duo to drink. Refreshments wero handed round, and tho second part of tho programmo included: Pianoforto solo, Mr. Ballard; sketch, "The Jealous Husband," by members of tho Lodge; song, Miss D.
