I THE FLAX BOUGHT OUTRIGHT. WOOL TO BE RECONDITIONED. . Ail arrangement has been come to whereby Messrs. W. Ross and of Foxton, and Mr. M. F. Bourke, of Wellington, will handle tho wool and flax cargo in No. 1 hold of tho lonic; which lias been partially damaged by fire. Tho flax cargo, consisting of about .ISOO bales, has been purchased outright at a . satisfactory price,- and is being forwarded for treatment to ('Foxton, from which district the bulk of it eamo. Tho wool is to be reconditioned at Mr. Bourke's works at Niipicr. It will bo remembered that Mr. 31. F. Bourke dealt with the hemp and wool damaged in the fire on the Turakina, with the result that tho reconditioned- stuff realised highly satisfactory prices in London.
