. westport, May 23. ; At tlio conclusion of tho. evidence at 1 o clock, the jury retired for three-quarters of an hour, and, oil their return, the foreman stated that tho jury, having' carefully considered all the evidence'brought bofore them concerning tho circumstances .of tho death of Edward John Bourker found in M'Laugfc lin's cart-shud on May-8, were led to believe that Bourko mot his death by foul play, and that Connolly, Haliman,' and Anderson were all implicated in his death. Haliman and Anderson stand charged with murder, and will como beforo the magistrate on Tuesday. Connelly is tho Crown's chief witness against tho two prisoners.
