CITRUS FRUIT IN HAWKE'S BAY.
Mr.. J. W. Williams, of Hawke's Bay, has had some heavy crops this season .from" his lemon', and orange trees (writes our. Wairarapa correspondent).. orchard-is about three .years old. : , A Haveloci; orchardist has just - planted '200 -orange - and lemon treos,. which'are doing well,with a-manuka shelter. The: lemon fruit shows plenty of size, but does riot appear to be quite •so healthy as 'that of Gisborne or' Auckland.
