The fortnightly mooting of the Trinity Church Mutual Improvement Society was held on Monday evening. In tho nbsonce of tho president (tho Rov. W. ,T. Williams), Mr. ,T. Loinns occupied the chair. Tho Rov. E. 11.I 1 . Blamires, who before he came to Wellington resided for a year in the Rotorua district, delivered a lecturo'on "Our Thermal Wondorland." Vocal and instrumental items wero rendered- by the Misses Mowton (2), E. Boxall, and Amos. On the motion of Mr. S. Martin, seconded by Mr. Amos, a very hearty vote of thanks was aocordod ita lecturer.
