INDUSTRIES WEEK,
A meeting of tho sub-committeo set up by the Industrial Association in connection with Industries Week was held 1 last evening. The secretary, Mr. H. F. Allen, stated that he had received a" telephone message from the Premier to the effect that the Government would grant excursion fares over certain' sections of the Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland, railways on Friday; June 5, and Saturday, June 6. It was decided to ask Mr. C. Wilson, Parliamentary Librarian, to judge the prizo essays written by those not exceedina fiiteen years of hue on the manufactures displayed in the windows branded "Made in New Zealand." •
