A competition was hold mid was won by sailors from/, ships in port The musical arrangements were in the hands of Miss lieove who provided a most enjoyable programnio! The following contributed items: — Misses Baker,' Hoboi-ts, Booty ' Messrs. llobmnn. Luemer, and Masters. Mrs. Anderson presided at the: piano. A hearty .voto of than lis to tho performers concluded a ploasant evening.
