At a special meeting of the Mastertbn Borough Council last night it was decidcd unanimously to ask the sanction of tho ratepayers for a loan of .€30,000 for drainage improvements. Arthur Dewdney: in tho Brooklyn Baptist Church are arousing a. largo amount of interest. The Presbyterian Chnrch, Muritai.wos crowded on Thursday evening, when a concert'of sonc and story, was given by. the No-license. League Mr. Coombs presided. Tho • proceedings were started by the • secretary (Mr. Townsend) explaining to the meeting what 'they were expected to do in this great reform. He urged all to help to bring the next poll to a successful issue. Iho following items wore then given-'— Song, Hiss Briorly; recitation, Mr. W.
