Methers, and Robert Slater'.,. .The ' charge was the rosult of the;':collision' between .'the Lady Roberts and the Matakaha in the lower harbour. Evidence on the linos of that given at. the magisteriarinquiry..was given by Captain Caslimon (Lady Roberts), Captain Gardner, Richard Morgai '(engineer of' the Lady Roberts), James Daley Maitland, Hector Pettors,' and "Ernest Haslett Binchall, after which tho hearing was! adjourned until Tue'svda'y next; j ' . " Ghristchurch) May 13. William. Robinson was' arrested this afternoon oh-a chargo of. the . manslaughter of his motherj and, Margaret Savago has. been summoned to . appear -to answer a similar chargo to-morrow morning.
