Teachers and students are reminded by .advertisement in this issue ■ that, entries for' the practical examinations of Trinitv College of Music, London, will close on Wednesday next, at Bogg's Music Warehouse, Willis . Street. Though not definitely, settled, the date of -the 'examination may be approximately fixed for t'no third week of September. There are five gold medals open for competition in the Wellington centre, two in the senior, two in the intermediate, and one ill the junior division. Theso "aro open to all candidates :in the' "Local" examination, without regard to age.
